TRIP ITINERARY

The four-day horseback tour starts and ends in Viscri, winding through six other traditional villages, providing an authentic Transylvanian experience. The tour package includes an IGEQ-certified guide, four overnight stays in charming guesthouses, and daily slow-food traditional meals, emphasizing local flavors. A support vehicle accompanies the journey, transferring luggage between the villages for a hassle-free experience. This well-rounded adventure combines cultural immersion, natural beauty, and comfortable accommodations to ensure a memorable ride through the picturesque Transylvanian landscape.

Day 1: Arrival in Romania
You’ll arrive at Cluj-Napoca Airport, where we’ll meet you for a scenic transfer to the charming village of Viscri. Along the way, there will be some sightseeing opportunities to introduce you to the region’s beauty. Dinner and accommodation await in Viscri, providing a warm welcome to your adventure.
Day 2: Viscri to Cloașterf
The day begins with a visit to King Charles’ house in Viscri, followed by a three-hour horseback ride to Mesendorf. After a lunch stop at a local restaurant, you’ll continue with another three-hour ride to Cloașterf, where a delicious dinner and a cozy overnight stay await.
Day 3: Cloașterf to Saschiz
Enjoy a morning ride to the village of Șapartoc, where you’ll share a traditional lunch with a local family. Afterward, continue your journey with a three-hour ride to Saschiz, known for its historic fortification. Dinner and overnight accommodations in Saschiz will round out the day.
Day 4: Saschiz to Mesendorf
Start with a ride to Criț, enjoying the region’s picturesque scenery. After a hearty lunch with a local family, the day continues with an afternoon ride to Mesendorf. You’ll arrive in time for dinner and a restful night at a guesthouse.
Day 5: Meșendorf to Viscri & Cluj-Napoca Airport
The final day features a three-hour morning ride back to Viscri, where you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we’ll arrange your transfer to Cluj-Napoca Airport, concluding the tour and ensuring a smooth departure.
