Guided rides from Viscri for confident riders — one day, or 2 to 4 days from village to village.
Every ride starts in Viscri, on our Lipizzaner horses, with a certified guide.
Around 20 km through forests and open pastures to a neighbouring Saxon village and back.
We plan the route with your group: Criț, Cloașterf, Saschiz, Meșendorf and the hills in between.
Five fixed dates, 4 days in the saddle from village to village, 3 to 6 riders. Come on your own or with friends.
A departure goes ahead from 3 riders. Other dates between 15 April and 15 November: on request.
We trot and gallop across open hills. To enjoy it — and stay safe — every rider needs to be at home in the saddle.
An 800-year-old Saxon village around a fortified church, 80 km north of Brașov. From here the trails open onto forests, pastures and quiet villages no road quite reaches.

You should trot and gallop in open country in a relaxed, balanced way, and be fit for up to 6 hours a day in the saddle. The request form asks a few questions for each rider so we can advise you honestly.
Send a request. Within 48 hours we propose a route, dates and price; you pay nothing before we confirm. Then you pay online by card: one-day rides in full; multi-day rides 50% to 100%, and any balance at least 30 days before the first day. Multi-day rides are booked at least 30 days ahead; for sooner dates, choose a one-day ride.
30 days or more before the ride: full refund, minus 3% card fees. 10 to 29 days before: the deposit (50% of the price) is kept. Less than 10 days before, or no-show: the full amount is kept. A rider whose experience was misrepresented may be refused on the ride and loses the amount paid.
The one-day ride costs 175 € per person, lunch included. Multi-day rides start at 300 € per person per day and include your horse, guide, helmet and safety vest, accommodation, all meals and luggage transfer; the final price is in your personalised offer.
Riding trousers, boots or short boots with chaps, gloves, a light rain jacket and sun cream. Helmets and safety vests are provided. A small waist bag is better than a backpack.
From 15 April to 15 November. Five group departures run from May to September, one-day rides on weekends in between, and any other date on request.
Maximum 100 kg per rider. Children from 8 years old, only if they are experienced riders.
